I Am Jesus' Brother

I know who I have been, what shameful things I have done, the temptations that yet plague me.

Amazing that Jesus still calls me His brother. You'd think He'd be too ashamed...except for one salient truth, namely, the fact that my perfect elder brother has made me holy. His record of a perfectly lived life in complete obedience to His Father has been given to me.

Scandalous...But I'm so grateful. I'm filled with joy.

Thank you, Elder Brother Jesus!

11Both the one who makes men holy and those who are made holy are of the same family. So Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers.
